Biography

Sofia Andrade (Bogotá, 1991) is a multidisciplinary visual artist whose work explores territorial memory, bodies in transition, and the invisible narratives embedded in Latin American urban landscapes. Her practice combines analog photography, installation, and expanded drawing, creating pieces that move between intimacy and collective experience.

She has participated in solo and group exhibitions in Colombia, Mexico, and Spain. Her work has been recognized for its poetic approach to themes such as migration, identity, and urban transformation.

She currently lives and works between Bogotá and Medellín.

Artist Statement

“I work from intuition, but also from listening. I am interested in observing how spaces hold stories that are not always visible. My work attempts to translate those invisible layers into images and objects.”
